Series of ink drawings, 2022
A series of ink drawings whose conceptual focus is the portrait of various monkeys. The drawings differ in size and drawing style, but together they form a community of individuals that reflects to the viewer their own existence in the historical context of colonization and domination of animals by humans. Curator Astrid Kury, at whose invitation the exhibition Enrichment at Akademie Graz 2022 took place, has written a melodious text about this tension.
